Bundesliga: Bangkok Airways (airline) becomes a regional partner of Borussia Dortmund in Asia

The Thai airline Bangkok Airways has become a regional partner of Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) on 11/03/2018. The agreement, of which the duration has not yet been communicated, will be activated in Thailand, South-East Asian countries, mainland China, Hong Kong, India and Bangladesh.

As part of the partnership, Bangkok Airways will be able to use the image of the German club and its players in its advertising and promotional activities. The partnership also includes a CSR component: Borussia Dortmund will organise sessions in Thailand of its "BVB Evonik Football School", a football camp for children, led by club instructors.

"With Borussia Dortmund's strong global brand presence and a huge fan base, we believe that it will strengthen Bangkok Airways' brand image as Asia's Boutique Airline as well as make the airline better known across Asia and Europe which are our main customer bases," said Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, president of Bangkok Airways.
