Matchday 29 of Ligue 1 and Ligue 2: €25,500 for women's football via LFP-FDJ "Buts Pour Elles"

The LFP, its partner FDJ (French national betting and lottery operator) and Fondaction du Football have renewed the "Buts Pour Elles" operation to promote women's football in clubs, for Matchday 29 of the 2017-18 Ligue 1 Conforama and Domino's Ligue 2, from 09 to 12/03/2018, during which 51 goals were scored.

This total - with each goal being worth €500 by the LFP - counted for €25,500 raised "to contribute to the financing of actions in favour of the feminisation of football following a call for projects with the football clubs," explained the French Professional Football League.

"Launched on 06/03 with the Fondaction du Football, this call for projects is open until 06/04/2018, and has already collected many very interesting dossiers for the feminisation of football and in particular for the access to football practice for all, the feminisation of governance, and performance support. A selection committee composed of representatives of the FDJ, Fondaction Football, and the LFP, and qualified individuals, will designate the five winning projects that will share this endowment…
