MLS: broadcast agreement with Twitter for 3 seasons (2018-2020) including 24 live matches

MLS has announced the signature of a broadcast agreement with Twitter for a duration of three seasons (2018-2020), on 09/03/2018. The deal includes the broadcast of 24 live matches in the US for the 2018 MLS regular season.

In addition to live matches, the agreement provides for the broadcast of exclusive content and match summaries broadcast around the world. Real Salt Lake - Los Angeles FC (1-5), on 10/03/2018 at 15:30 West Coast Time (22:30 CET), was the first game of MLS broadcast live via the Twitter accounts of the MLS and US Spanish-language media group Univision Communications Inc. (broadcast in English).
