Liga NOS: New Balance extends as equipment supplier of FC Porto until 2024-25

The American brand New Balance has extended its contract as the equipment supplier of FC Porto (Liga NOS) for the 2018-2025 period, a duration of seven seasons, on 14/03/2018.

The American brand Warrior Sports has succeeded Nike as the equipment supplier of FC Porto on 30/05/2014, with a four-season contract (2014-2018) valued at €2.5m per year. New Balance, the parent company of Warrior Sports, formalised itself as the replacement of its subsidiary with the clubs under contract, including Liverpool FC (Premier League), Sevilla FC (LaLiga Santander), and FC Porto, from the 2015-16 season, on 05/02/2015.

"The global retail sales of FC Porto reached increased by 91% since 2014, while shirt sales have increased by 45%," said the Portuguese club. "The new agreement reflects the ambition of New Balance and of FC Porto in growing and evolving at a global level, with tremendous desire for success," said Kenny McCallum, general manager of New Balance Football.
