Europa League: Wigan replace betting sponsor banned in Russia with a charity

Wigan Athletic (ENG, Championship) made the charity Wigan Youth Zone their shirt sponsor in place of online betting company 12Bet for the Group D Europa League meeting: Rubin Kazan (Russia) - Wigan (1-0), on the 07/11/2013.

Wigan Youth Zone, a charity for underprivileged children in the English town, temporarily replaced 12Bet because Russian legislation does not allow betting companies to be displayed during football matches. The charity will also appear on the shirts for the game between Wigan and NK Maribor on the 12/12/2013, as Slovenia have the same restrictions.
