The Saudi telecommunications company STC (Saudi Telecom Company) have extended their partnership for a further five years with Manchester United (Premier League), the club announced on the 08/11/2013. Both parties are bound to the end of the 2017-18 season.

STC remains the official telecommunications partner of the club in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait and Turkey. The Saudi group holds particular mobile broadcast rights for MUTV, the club channel in the Middle East. It will also build the image of the club for its campaigns in the region.

"We will exceed fans’ expectations, giving them never-before-seen footage and access to exclusive content in a way that is relevant and engaging to each and every one of them. There is a lot of potential to grow the sports rights market in the Middle East, and this deal will ensure that STC continues to lead the way in this sector," said Mohammed Al Dhoheyan, chairman of the investment committee of the Saudi Telecom Company.
