LaLiga Santander: FC Barcelona to launch a new FCBEscola (academy) in Puebla, Mexico by next August

FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) have launched a project to create a new FCBEscola full season football academy in Puebla, Mexico. "Puebla will be the scene of the only permanent FCBEscola headquarters in Mexico. After four years celebrating FCBCamps in Mexico, the project will launch with a full season school," said the Catalan club on 16/03/2018.

By the launch of the FCBEscola in Puebla, the club will have a total 42 FCBEscolas. FC Barcelona are continuing to expand through "strategic territories" for the club. By Next year the club will have a total of 13 schools on the continent: "7 in the United States, 5 in Canada and one in Mexico," added FC Barcelona.

"The FCBEscola Puebla facilities will be located within the Haras Ciudad Ecológica complex, very close to the urban center. The project was born by the hand of Catalunya Sports, which during the last four seasons has organised FCBCamps in North America in different venues, such as Monterrey, Querétaro, Guadalajara, Mexico City, Cancun, Puebla and Acapulco," explained Barça.
