China: 1.6 million viewers for OGC Nice- PSG (16 times the average TV audience for a Ligue 1 match)

OGC Nice - Paris Saint-Germain (1-2, Matchday 30 of the Ligue 1 Conforama season), scheduled on Sunday 18/03/2018 at 13:00 CET (20:00 in Beijing or Shanghai), drew 1.6 million viewers in China, announced the LFP on 21/03/2018.

"Broadcast live on two OTT platforms (Tencent and PPTV) and live or slightly delayed by four regional channels (Beijing TV, Guangzhou TV, Shanghai TV and Guangdong TV), the match posted an audience 16 times higher than the average for a Ligue 1 Conforama match," said the professional football league.

"In France, the audience of the match co-broadcast by Canal+ and beIN Sports was also a game with a total of 1.18 million viewers equally distributed between the two broadcasters (630,000 on Canal+ and 550,000 on beIN Sports 1), with an audience 1.5 times higher than the average for matches scheduled on Saturday at 17:00 (on Canal+)," added the LFP.
