Manchester: prize for best tourism for Manchester United Museum & Tour

Manchester United Museum & Tour (club museum and tour held at Old Trafford) won the prize for best tourism in 2013 (category: more than 50,000 visitors) in Manchester, during the "Manchester Tourism Awards," on the 06/11/2013.

"We’re delighted that the Manchester United Museum and Tour has been recognised with this award. The Museum and Tour is one of the North West’s most popular tourist destinations, welcoming more than 340,000 visitors each year from across the world," said Richard Arnold, group managing director of Manchester United, on the 06/11/2013.

During the ceremony, Manchester City were also awarded; they received the prize for best tourism activity, category: less than 50,000 visitors, for the Manchester City Stadium Experience, which involves tours of the Etihad Stadium and the training ground.
