Grand Stade de Lyon: foundation stone laid on the 12/11/2013 at 10:00 (CET)

The laying of the foundation stone of the Grand Stade de Lyon, which will be one of 10 stadiums used in France for Euro 2016, was made on the 12/11/2013 at 10:00 (CET). The ceremony took place in the presence of the president of Olympique Lyonnais, Jean-Michel Aulas, the OL group vice president Jérôme Seydoux, Gerard Bienfait, chairman of Vinci Construction France, Noël Le Graët, FFF president (French Football Federation), as well as Frédéric Thiriez, president of the LFP (French Professional Football League).

Construction of the 58,000 seat stadium officially started on the 29/07/2013.

Delivery is scheduled for late 2015 or early 2016.
