FFF: France - Colombia (friendly) draws 4.69 million viewers in France (audience share: 19.7%)

France - Colombia (2-3), a preperation match for the 2018 World Cup, at the Stade de France (Saint-Denis, Seine-Saint-Denis), drew an average of 4.69 million viewers on TMC, the free-TV channel of the TF1 group, with a peak TV audience of 5.7 million, on Friday 23/03/2018 (kick-off at 21:00 CET), according to data from the audience measurement institute Médiamétrie.

This figure represented an audience share of 19.7% and enabled TMC to post the best TV audience in the French television market for the evening on 23/03/2018. This is a historic audience share record for TMC, the audience share record for the free-TV channels is still held by the second half of the France - Sweden quarter-final of the 2017 World Handball Championship, broadcast on TMC, on 24/02/2017 (see below).
