UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund), have extended their partnership with FC Barcelona (Liga BBVA) for two years, the club announced on the 12/11/2013. The previous agreement, which was to finish at the end of the 2013-14 season, has now been extended until the end of the 2015-16 championship.

Barca have been linked with UNICEF since September 2006. The United Nations Fund have been featured on the central front part of the team shirt from the 2005-06 season to 2010-11. The NGO (Non Governmental Organisation) was replaced by Qatar Airways as the principal sponsor for the 2011-12 season. The UNICEF logo was then moved to the back of the official jersey, below the players' numbers.

FC Barcelona have paid UNICEF €1.5 million per year since 2006 and 0.7% of revenue from its foundation, under the framework of this partnership. The financial agreement has been extended on the same basis. These funds have enabled the development of various humanitarian projects in China, Brazil, South Africa and Ghana during the 2012-13 season.
