"An organisation as powerful as FIFA, which is responsible for the world's most popular sport, is aware of its responsibility for sustainable development, and we have been taking that responsibility very seriously for a long time, trying to be leaders in the world of sport," said Federico Addiechi, head of sustainability and diversity at FIFA since 2003, to News Tank Football in Paris on 27/03/2018.

"We are using international standards that allow us to compare ourselves with the big private sector companies, and we will continue to fight this battle and bring other players into the great fight for sustainable development," added Federico Addiechi, who was present at the FFF to participate in the "Impact & Heritage" seminar led by FIFA and the Local Organising Committee (COL) of the Women's World Cup, which will be organised in France from 07/06 to 07/07/2019.
