Twitter: "Making TFC a modern, dynamic and fun brand" (Boris Laffargue, Toulouse FC)

Toulouse FC (10^th in L1 in 2012-13) have the fourth largest amount of Twitter followers in the French Ligue 1, with 109,000 subscribers, just behind Paris SG (1^st) OM (2^nd) and OL (3^rd) in July 2013. The success of TFC on the microblogging platform is the result of a strategy initiated in 2008.

"We chose to develop human and financial resources to develop an ambitious digital strategy. We use these communication tools in order to save money. We contacted Twitter very early on, and they helped us to address this medium with the highest professionalism possible," said Boris Laffargue, Director of Marketing and Media for the Toulousain club, to NTF on the 30/07/2013.

TFC, the first French club to open a Twitter account, see this tool as a point of exchange with the community: "we are thinking about new activities for 2013-14. But in general, we will enhance our work on Twitter and try to develop original content," said Boris Laffargue.
