Serie A TIM: SSC Napoli inaugurates its first academy outside of Italy in Guilin (China)

The Societa Sportiva Calcio Napoli (Serie A TIM) has inaugurated an academy in the Chinese city of Guilin (Guangxi province), the club's first outside of Italy, announced the Italian club, on 27/03/2018.

The new academy is "an ambitious project designed to support the development of football in China" and "part of the club’s wider global expansion strategy," said the Naples club. Napoli join Juventus FC and FC Internazionale Milano two other Serie A TIM clubs that have at least one academy in China.

"The move will help us spread our football philosophy around the world as we share the first-rate know-how and technical expertise we have acquired over the years. The SSC Napoli Academy in Guilin will identify promising local talents and develop them through a high-quality training programme. For the young players, it will be an opportunity to enjoy a new experience combining sport, culture and social interaction," added the club.
