Rugby: RDA (agency) acquires rights to the 2018-2022 European cups (excluding FR, UK, IRL and USA)

The UK agency RDA has acquired the international media rights (excluding France, the United Kingdom, Ireland and the United States) of the European rugby cups (Challenge Cup and Champions Cup) on behalf of EPCR, for the 2018-2022 cycle, announced the agency on 28/03/2018.

ASM Clermont Auvergne - Saracens FC (17-28), the final of the 2017 Champions Cup played on Saturday 13/05/2017, was broadcast in 95 countries, said the British agency.

In the UK, the pay-TV group BT Sport extended its broadcast rights, valid for the UK and Ireland, to the European rugby cups for the 2018-2022 cycle, announced the European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR) on 04/07/2017. (see below).
