Top 14: Kappa succeeds Kipsta as equipment supplier of Castres, for three seasons (2018-2021)

The Italian brand Kappa has become the equipment supplier of Castres Olympique (Top 14) for three seasons (2018-2021), announced the two partners on 28/03/2018. The contract will come into effect on 01/07/2018.

Kappa succeeds the French brand Kipsta (Decathlon Group), the equipment supplier of Castres Olympique during the 2014-2018 cycle. The Italian brand will gain the status of official equipment supplier and major partner, the first level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the rugby club.

"Kappa will exclusively clothe the entire club in its 'Sport' and 'Lifestyle' ranges," explained Sport Finance, which distributes the Italian brand in France.

Kappa was the most represented equipment supplier in the Top 14 in 2016-17, with four contracted clubs. The brand shares this leadership in 2017-18 with Hungaria, each with two contracted clubs: Union Bordeaux-Bègles Rugby and Montpellier Hérault Rugby for Kappa, Stade Rochelais and Rugby Club Toulonnais for the French brand.
