Bayern Munich announce record turnover of €432.8 million for 2012-13, up 16%

FC Bayern Munich AG, the holding company that owns Bayern Munich (Bundesliga, GER) and the Allianz Arena, the Bavarian club's stadium, have achieved a record turnover of €432.8 million for the 2012-13 season, the club said during their general meeting on the 13/11/2013. This is the first time that Bayern have recorded more than €400 million in annual revenue.

The figure represents an increase of €59.4 million (+16%) compared to 2011-12 (€373.4 million). The Bavarian club's activities generated €393.9 million, or 91% of total revenue, an increase of €61.9 million (18.6%) compared to 2011-12 (€332 million).

Bayern recorded a gross operating profit of €95.6 million, or 38% more than in 2011-12 (€69.3 million). The profit after tax amounted to €14 million, or 30% more than in 2011-12 (€11.1 million). FC Bayern Munich AG has equity of €286.8 million, after posting profits every year since 1992-93.

The total payroll of the Bavarian club, which employs nearly 500 people, reached €202.8 million, against €164.9 million in 2010-11, an increase of nearly 23% in three years.
