Premier League: record turnover of £306.3m (+46%) for Tottenham Hotspur FC in 2016-17

Tottenham Hotspur FC (Premier League) posted a record turnover of £306.3m (€348m on 30/06/2017) in the fiscal year 2017 (from 01/07/2016 to 30/06/2017), up almost 46% compared to the fiscal year 2016 (£209.8m/€254m on 30/06/2016), announced the English club which posted a net profit of £41.2m (€46.9m vs £33m/€39.9m in 2016) on 03/04/2018.

"Television and media revenues rose to £149.8m (€170.3m versus £94.8m/€114.7m in 2016), due to the commencement of a new three-year Premier League broadcasting deal and a record second place league finish (versus third place in 2015-2016)," said Tottenham.

Premier League ticketing revenue was £19m (€21.6m), while the club's European cup participation (see below) was £44.6m (€50.7m ticketing and UEFA revenue combined). Sponsorship and hospitality revenues brought in £54.7m (€62.2m) for the London club, and merchandising £14m (€15.9m), according to Tottenham.
