Facebook: 236.7 million Likes in total for the 20 LaLiga Santander clubs (April 2018)

The 20 clubs involved in the 2017-18 LaLiga Santander season have a cumulative total of nearly 236.7 million Likes on the social network Facebook, according to data recorded by News Tank Football on 01/04/2018. This makes LaLiga Santander the second most popular Top 5 league on Facebook, behind the Premier League, with an average of 11.8 million fans per club.

Real Madrid CF, the most popular Spanish club on Facebook with more than 107.3 million Likes, were the club which posted the highest growth in absolute terms with 375,993 additional Likes in March 2018.

FC Barcelona and Real Madrid CF have more than 210 million Likes, nearly 89% of the total Likes of LaLiga Santander clubs, and more than the 58 Serie A TIM, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 Conforama clubs combined.

With 9% more Likes (+9,873), Girona FC, the fifth least popular LaLiga Santander club on Facebook, was the club that experienced the best percentage growth in March 2018.
