City Football Group: Tinder (dating app) partners with Man City, Man City Women and New York City FC

Tinder, a dating application based on geographical proximity, has signed a "multi-year" partnership with Manchester City FC (Premier League) on 05/04/2018. "The partnership, which is Tinder’s first significant foray into the world of sport, incorporates our men and women’s first teams as well as City Football Group sister club, New York City FC (MLS)," said the club.

Tinder has the status of global partner, the first level in the club sponsorship hierarchy. "App users and football fans from around the world will benefit from a range of exciting and unique fan engagement activities, such as exclusive access to games, once-in-a-lifetime opportunities and stadium events," added Man City.

An agreement between rivals Manchester United FC (Premier League) and Tinder for the club's sleeve sponsorship (for £12m/€13m per season) had been reported by the British daily newspaper the Daily Mail on 03/08/2017.
