ECA: conference in Split (CRO) on "Socio Membership Structure" on 10 and 11/04/2018

"Socio Membership Structure, from strategy to implementation, management and practice" is the theme of the conference organised by ECA, in partnership with HNK Hajduk Split (Prva HNL, CRO), one of its member clubs, in Split (CRO) on Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11/04/2018.

"Classic 'socio' clubs are non-profit sports clubs owned by their members. The members pay an annual membership fee which entitles them to elect the board of directors, headed by a president, who then supervises the administration of the club," stated Olivier Jarosz, director of the Club Management Programme of the ECA, to News Tank Football - a media partner of the event - on 13/03/2018.

"The assembly of delegates is a body of several members, which functions similar to a parliament, and which has the power to censure the president and the board if their actions do not conform to the statutes of the club," added Olivier Jarosz.
