The RB Leipzig (Bundesliga) - Olympique Marseille (Ligue 1 Conforama) quarter-final first leg of the 2017-18 Europa League (1-0), drew 1.97 million viewers in France, on the free-TV channel W9, on Thursday 05/04/2018 (kick-off at 21:05 CET).

This figure represented an audience share of 8.8% and ranked the channel, belonging to the M6 group, fourth in the French TV market in France for prime time on 05/04/2018.

For the 2015-2018 cycle, the M6 group has the first choice of games on each Europa League matchday. The pay-TV group beIN Sports broadcasts all matches of the competition.

For the 2018-2021 cycle, Altice group acquired, the full TV rights of the European Cups (Champions League and Europa League) for approximately €350m per season, on 11/05/2017.
