"Passion and a sense of belonging are exactly what saved this club from the bankruptcy in the moments when the club reached the edge. That is when we took the socio model, because in that moment everyone had given up on this club. Everyone except its fans," stated Ivan Kos, the CEO of HNK Hajduk Split (Prva HNL, CRO), at the Socio Membership Structure conference in Split (CRO) on 10/04/2018.

The European Club Association is organising, in partnership with HNK Hajduk Split, one of its member clubs, a conference on the structure of football clubs owned by their supporters, titled "'Socio' Membership Structure: From Strategy to Implementation, Management, and Practice", in Split (CRO) on Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11/04/2018.
