Twitter: 13.99 million followers in total for the 18 Bundesliga clubs (April 2018)

The 18 clubs participating in the 2017-18 Bundesliga season have a cumulative total of over 13.99 million followers on the social network Twitter, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/04/2018. The Bundesliga is the least-followed European Top 5 league on Twitter, with an average of 777,456 followers per club.

FC Bayern Munich is the most popular German club on Twitter, with 4.3 million followers, up 1.1% from the beginning of March 2018. The Bavarian club is the only Bundesliga club with more than 4 million followers. Borussia Dortmund, second, has over 3 million (3,195,812 on 01/04/2018). The two clubs comprise 54.3% of the total followers of the 18 Bundesliga clubs.

With 2% more followers, RB Leipzig is the club with the best percentage growth rate on Twitter for the fifth consecutive month. The club remains at the bottom of the ranking with 157,819 followers on 01/04/2018.
