Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Conforama) "continues its international development by creating its first foreign subsidiary in Singapore to strengthen its presence in Asia," said the French club on 11/04/2018. The office will be headed by Sébastien Wasels, who since 2009 has been the head of international development at Paris Saint-Germain.

"Through this permanent presence on the Asian continent, Paris Saint-Germain's objective is to strengthen the visibility of its brand, develop new partnerships and support the growth of its growing fan base that has been on the rise in Asia for the last few years. The club will soon announce other ambitious projects to strengthen its presence and visibility in the short term on the Asian continent," said PSG.

  • "More than 17 million Asian fans follow the club's news on traditional social media, including 5 million in Indonesia and 1.3 million on Chinese social media alone," said PSG, on 11/04/2018.
  • Paris Saint-Germain are currently first in the 2017-18 Ligue 1 Conforama table after 32 games with 84 points (27 wins, 3 draws and 2 defeats).
