eSports: the FFF launches France eFoot team, qualifications at Clairefontaine on 20 and 21/04/2018

The FFF have launched the France eFoot team on the FIFA 18 video game, which will be "coached by Fabien Devide, aka 'Neo' (Team Vitality), a major eSports figure," on 09/04/2018. "By integrating into the eSports universe, the FFF is pursuing its strategy of innovation and services as part of its 'Ambition 2020' action plan," said the Federation, which benefits from support from the French marketing agency UniteamSport for the project.

"16 players have been pre-selected to participate in a qualification camp that will take place on 20 and 21/04/2018 at Clairefontaine (France's national football center). 12 of the pre-selected players come from the FUT Champions rankings (FIFA Ultimate Team, online competition between all FIFA players) at the end of February. The other four pre-selected players have been chosen by the coach," said the FFF.
