Champions League: 7.68 million Italians and 5.71 million Spaniards watch AS Roma - FC Barcelona

The AS Roma (Serie A TIM) - FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) quarter-final return leg of the 2017-18 Champions League (3-0, 4-4 over the two matches, AS Roma qualified), drew an average of 7.68 million viewers in Italy, on the free-TV channel on Canale 5 (Mediaset group), on Tuesday 10/04/2018 (kick-off at 20.45 CET). This figure represented an audience share of 28.3%.

Mediaset, an Italian free and pay-TV group, broadcasts, on one of its free channels (Canale 5, Canale 20, Italia 1 and Rete 4), one game per week of competition, as well as the final of the Champions League over the 2015-2018 period. The other games are broadcast on the pay-TV channels of the Mediaset Premium offer.

The meeting drew 5.712 million viewers in Spain on the free and private TV channel Antena 3 (audience share: 29.9%). The Spanish television group Atresmedia broadcasts for free on Tuesday nights, via its free channel Antena 3 (or occasionally on the free-TV channel Sexta), one game on each matchday of the competition, as well as the Champions League final for the 2015-2018 period.
