The Manchester City FC (Premier League) - Liverpool FC (Premier League) quarter-final return leg of the 2017-18 Champions League (1-2, 1-5 on aggregate, Liverpool qualify for the semi-finals), drew an average of 1,405,000 subscribers in the UK, on the pay-TV channel BT Sport 2, on Tuesday 10/04/2018 (kick-off at 19:45 local time, 20:45 CET). This figure represented an audience share of 7.6%.

BT Sport, holder of the UK broadcasting rights of the Champions League and Europa League for the 2015-2018 cycle, acquired the rights for the 2018-2021 cycle on 06/03/2017. BT will spend £394m per year (€451m) from 2018-2021, an increase of 31.8% over the previous cycle.
