Copa del Rey: RTVE acquires TV rights to the 2017-18 final, Sevilla FC - FC Barcelona (21/04/2018)

The Spanish public broadcasting group RTVE has acquired the broadcasting rights, in Spain, for the 2017-18 Copa del Rey final with the RFEF, announced the Spanish Federation on 12/04/2018, for an amount of €3.5m according to the Spanish press.

The match showcases Sevilla FC (LaLiga Santander) against FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) at the Wanda Metropolitano (Madrid, 68,000 capacity), on Saturday 21/04/2018 (kickoff 21:30 CET).

FC Barcelona - Deportivo Alavés (LaLiga Santander), 3-1, the final of the 2016-17 Copa del Rey at the Vicente Calderón Stadium (Madrid, 54,900 capacity), drew 5.523 million viewers on average in Spain on the free private channel Telecinco (of the Mediaset España group), on Saturday 27/05/2017 (kick-off at 21:30 CET).
