Top 5: Bayern, Manchester City, and PSG 2017-18 domestic champions, Barcelona and Juventus waiting

One week after FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga), crowned German champions for 2017-18 after Matchday 29 (out of 34), Manchester City FC (Premier League) and Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Conforama) clinched the championships of France and England at the end of Matchday 33 (out of 38), on 15/04/2018.

These three clubs have all been crowned five matchdays before the end of the season. Another point in common, their 2017-18 title is not the first, far from it, their recent history: this is the sixth title in a row for Bayern, the third in seven years for Manchester City, and the fifth in six seasons for PSG.

FC Barcelona, in line for the 2017-18 LaLiga Santander title (11 points ahead of Atlético de Madrid with six matchdays to go in Spain), and Juventus, in a battle for the Serie A TIM title (six points ahead of SSC Napoli, with six matchdays and a head-to-head game remaining) would be consistent with the trio Bayern - City - PSG if they finish in the lead: Barça has won six of the last nine titles in Spain, and Juventus have taken the last six in Italy.
