"For Qatar Tourism Authority, to associate with a club like ours, a permanent media, that beyond being a football club, is a global sports brand based in Paris, seems to be an effective model and promises to be repeated by others in the future," said Jean-Claude Blanc, chief operating officer of Paris Saint-Germain, to NTF on the 13/11/2013.

The leader justified the partnership between PSG and Qatar Tourism Authority which began in 2011, as well as its annual amount of between €150 and €200 million. "The strong ambition of QTA is to build in the country, in fifteen years, a $10 billion tourism industry," said Jean-Claude Blanc to NTF. "This is a major strategic challenge for Qatar and it's respectable and interesting to see a country, certainly known, but not as a tourist destination, to project so far, as to say: ' In ten to fifteen years, we want 3% of our GDP to be made up of this activity.' "
