MLS: New York City FC appoint three vice-presidents (partnerships, finance, and ticketing)

New York City FC have named Doug Fillis, Josh Neier, and Mike Quarino as senior vice president of partnerships, vice president of finance and vice president of ticket sales and fan services respectively, the future MLS (Major League Soccer) club announced, on the 12/11/2013. The three leaders join Tim Pernetti, chief business officer, and Claudio Reyna, director of football, and take office immediately.

"Launching a Major League Soccer expansion team, especially in a market like New York City, requires progressive and experienced leadership in the front office. In Doug, Josh and Mike we have a team with proven leadership and real expertise in their fields in roles which we have identified as central to our growth," said Tim Pernetti.

The New York City FC franchise was jointly acquired by Manchester City (Premier League), and the New York Yankees (Major League Baseball) for $100 million (approximately €77 million), on the 21/05/2013. They will become the twentieth MLS club when they join the U.S. league in 2015.
