Vivendi: Yannick Bolloré succeeds his father Vincent as chairman of the supervisory board

Yannick Bolloré (38 years old), CEO of the communications group Havas, has been appointed chairman of the supervisory board of the parent company, Vivendi, on 19/04/2018. He succeeds his father, Vincent Bolloré (66 years old).

Vincent Bolloré also left the chair of the supervisory board of the Vivendi subsidiary Canal+, where he was replaced by Jean-Christophe Thiery, who had chairman of the executive board, on 10/04/2018. Vincent Bolloré has been chairman of the supervisory board of Vivendi since June 2014, and of Canal+ since September 2015.

CEO of the Havas Group since 2013, Yannick Bolloré has previously been the managing director of Bolloré Media (between 2009 and 2012), and the director of the programming of the free-TV channel Direct 8 (between 2006 and 2009) after having co-founded and directed film production company WY Productions (between 2001 and 2006).
