The General Assembly of the LNPA (Lega Nazionale Professionisti Serie A), Italy's national professional league, who run Serie A, have unanimously agreed a counter-offer by the media and marketing rights agency Infront Italy, on the 18/11/2013.

Claudio Lotito, president of Lazio, and Andrea Agnelli, president of Juventus, were nominated by their peers to negotiate with Infront on behalf of the 20 clubs in Serie A. The agency, who have been media advisors to the Serie A since 2010, want to extend their role until the end of the 2020-21 season.

Infront, who had proposed €5.5 billion in guaranteed media rights income over the period 2015-2021, on the 07/10/2013, have now increased their offer to €6.5 billion over six years.

Serie A clubs would share a guaranteed minimum of one billion euro per season over the period 2015-2018 and 1.15 billion euro minimum in each of the next three seasons.

For the period 2012-2015, the Serie A's media rights are €974.5 million per season.
