Coppa Italia TV rights: launch of the national and international call for tenders (2018-2021 cycle)

The Lega Serie A has launched a call for tenders for the domestic and international audiovisual rights to the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana for the 2018-2021 cycle, on 21/04/2018. Interested parties have until Monday 07/05/2018 (12:30 CET) to respond.

For Italy, the Lega Serie A offers a main package that with exclusive rights on all media platforms (satellite, free-TV, OTT, IPTV, and mobile) excluding radio. The floor price for this lot is €30m per season, and the package for the lot of exclusive radio rights is €300,000 per season. The Italian league also offers lots for match summaries, this time without exclusivity, except for internet and mobile rights.

Regarding the international rights of these two competitions, the Lega Serie A offers three lots of TV rights to agencies:
• One lot for all countries and territories (excluding Italy, San Marino and the Vatican)
• One lot for all countries and territories (excluding Italy, San Marino and the Vatican) excluding the MENA zone
• One lot for the MENA zone (read below)
