European cups: "The Champions League is giving the big clubs more money" (Javier Tebas)

"As president of LaLiga, I have no problem with the fact that Real Madrid CF, FC Barcelona and Club Atlético de Madrid are the only ones to win LaLiga Santander every year, but we cannot allow them to win by more than 20 or 25 points. This is not desirable. In 2015, the centralisation of LaLiga TV rights has reduced the imbalance between clubs, but the Champions League is giving the big clubs more money than in the past, and the gap is widening again," said Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga, to News Tank Football after the first "Club Advisory Platform" organised by the European Association of Professional Leagues, in Amsterdam (NED) on 23/04/2018.
