The Liverpool FC (Premier League) - AS Roma (Serie A TIM) quarter-final first leg of the 2017-18 Champions League (5-2), drew an average of 7.434 million viewers in Italy, on the free-TV channel Canale 5, on Tuesday 24/04/2018 (kick-off at 20:45 CET). This figure represented an audience share of 28.8%.

Mediaset, an Italian free and pay-TV group, broadcasts, on one of its free channels (Canale 5, Italia 1, and Rete 4, Canale 20), one game per week of competition, as well as the final of the Champions League over the 2015-2018 period.
