LaLiga Santander: 2.6 million viewers in Spain for Matchday 34 of 2017-18

2,618 million viewers (1,834 million on the beIN Sports pay-TV channels and 784,000 on the free-TV channel Gol) watched eight of the ten games on Matchday 34 of the 2017-18 LaLiga Santander season, played from 20 to 23/04/2018, according to data from the Kantar Media audience measurement institute.

Kantar Media has changed its method of calculating audiences in Spain. "Guests" are now added to the calculation of the TV audience figures, in addition to people who usually reside within each test household. The ratings in Spain (LaLiga Santander, Champions League, Copa del Rey, international matches) reported by News Tank Football have taken this method of calculation into account since 01/01/2018.

• beIN LaLiga, a joint venture between Mediapro and beIN Media Group, broadcasts eight LaLiga Santander games per matchday (2016-2019 cycle).
• Movistar Partidazo, a Telefonica group channel, broadcasts one (first choice) game per matchday (2016-2019 cycle).
• Gol, a Mediapro free-TV channel, broadcasts one game per matchday (2016-2019 cycle).
