France: the management of FC Sochaux entrusted to the Spanish group Baskonia-Alavés for 3 seasons

"FC Sochaux-Montbéliard President Wing Sang Li has officially announced that the Tech Pro group has appointed the Spanish group Baskonia-Alavés to manage FCSM. Baskonia-Alavés, based in Vitoria-Gasteiz (ESP), will be responsible for the overall management of FCSM for three seasons, and a team of four people including a managing director will soon be assigned full-time to Football Club Sochaux-Montbéliard to carry out this mission," announced FC Sochaux (Domino's Ligue 2) on 25/04/2018.

"This collaboration will aim to develop the effectiveness of the FCSM in the areas of sport, economic, financial and global management. Tech Pro will bear the cost of the service as evidence of its support to the FCSM," the club added.

Baskonia-Alavés, a sports club based in the Spanish Basque Country, manages both the basketball team Saski Baskonia Vitoria, currently in the Euroleague quarter-finals, and the football club Deportivo Alaves, 13^th in the 2017-18 LaLiga Santander three matchdays before the end of the season.
