Reinhard Grindel, president of the DFB; Friedrich Curtius, general secretary; Philipp Lahm and Celia Sasic, former German internationals; have officially filed Germany's bid book to host Euro 2024 at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon (SUI), on 24/04/2018.

Theodore Theodoridis (GRE), general secretary of UEFA, received the 868-page document (with 760 appendices with numerous letters of support from representatives of sport, politics and the economy) which was divided into 12 parts and answers the 189 questions posed by UEFA.

The German bid proposes 10 cities: Berlin, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Cologne, Leipzig, Munich, and Stuttgart, which were selected in September 2017.

Turkey is also a candidate to host Euro 2024. UEFA's executive committee will designate the host country on 27/09/2018.
