EA Sports, a US video game publisher, has extended its agreement with the LFP for the next two seasons (2019 and 2020) of the Orange e-Ligue 1, on 26/04/2018.

"EA Sports has been with the LFP since the launch of the Orange e-Ligue 1 on 18/10/2016 and for 18 years thanks to the agreement that links with the FIFA video game. With this partnership, the French champion of the Orange e-Ligue 1 and runner-up will qualify for the EA Sports FIFA 18 Global Series, en route to the FIFA eWorld Cup," said the LFP.

The second edition of the finals of the Orange e-Ligue 1 Spring Tournament, on 28 and 29/04/2018, qualified four players representing their respective clubs - Brian "Brian" Savary (Dijon FCO), Amine "Mino7x" Boughanmi (FC Metz), Corentin "Maestro" Thuiller (LOSC Lille) and Ridzz "Ridzz_17" Andrianarison (see below) - for the finals which will take place on the premises of beIN Sports, on Monday 07/05/2018.
