Pro14: TV Rights for eir Sport, FreeSports and Premier Sports in the UK and Ireland (2018-2021)

Ireland's pay-TV group eir sport has acquired the TV rights of the Guinness Pro14 for Ireland for three seasons from 2018-19, on 03/05/2018. eir sport will broadcast 152 Pro14 games per season. "eir sport has entered into a sub-licencing agreement with TG4, allowing the Irish language broadcaster access to a select number of games," said Pro14 Rugby. 

eir sport only held the match highlights rights for the previous cycle. The telecommunications group Sky are the rights holders in Ireland for the 2015-2018 period. eir sports channels are accessible via Sky's offers.

British TV groups Premier Sports and FreeSports acquired the TV rights, for the UK, of the Guinness Pro14 for three seasons from 2018-19, on 30/04/2018. FreeSports will broadcast for free one match per day of the competition and Premier Sports the other six matches via its pay-TV channels including Premier Sports 2 which will be launched for the occasion.
