Matchday 33 the penultimate matchday of the 2017-18 Bundesliga season drew an average of 50,815 spectators per game on 05/05/2018. This is the third time this season that the Bundesliga has reached the 50,000 spectators mark per game, a feat which no other European Top 5 league has achieved in 2017-18. On Matchday 33 the average fill rate was 99%, also a record in the Top 5 this season.

Borussia Dortmund - 1.FSV Mainz 05 (1-2), on Saturday 05/05/2018 (kick-off at 15:30 CET), was the game that posted the best attendance of the Matchday with 81,360 spectators at the Signal Iduna Park (fill rate: 100%).
