Matchday 33 the penultimate matchday of the 2017-18 Bundesliga season drew an average of 50,815 spectators per game on 05/05/2018. This is the third time this season that the Bundesliga has reached the 50,000 spectators mark per game, a feat which no other European Top 5 league has achieved in 2017-18. On Matchday 33 the average fill rate was 99%, also a record in the Top 5 this season.

Borussia Dortmund - 1.FSV Mainz 05 (1-2), on Saturday 05/05/2018 (kick-off at 15:30 CET), was the game that posted the best attendance of the Matchday with 81,360 spectators at the Signal Iduna Park (fill rate: 100%). Five out of nine games drew at least 50,000 spectators, and none less than 30,000.

The average league attendance reached 44,657 spectators per game after 33 matchdays, for an average fill rate of 91%.
