Bundesliga: FC Bayern Munich forms a partnership with the Japan Football Association (JFA)

FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) and the Japan Football Association (JFA) have formed a collaborative partnership which will focus on the "joint support of youth talent and the exchange of training philosophies," announced the 2017-18 German champions, on 07/05/2018.

"As part of the cooperation, FC Bayern will send coaches to Japan for workshops and training events. In return, Japanese FA coaches will have the opportunity of participating in FC Bayern's coaching instruction in Munich (GER). Friendlies between FC Bayern and JFA youth teams as well as joint training camps in Munich and at the academy in Japan are also planned," added the Bavarian club.

"The German record champions have been involved in supporting talented male and female players and in coaching instruction at the FC Bayern Football School Tsuneishi (JPN) since 2016. Young players drawn from the programme have again and again been called up for Japan's national youth teams over the last few years," said Bayern Munich.
