eSports: FIFA eClub World Cup will take place at AMP Studios in Paris (FRA) on 19 and 20/05/2018

The FIFA eClub World Cup, the official FIFA eSports competition for eSports clubs on the FIFA 18 video game by the American publisher EA Sports, will take place at the AMP Studios in Paris (FRA) on 19 and 20/05/2018.

"The 16 teams participating in the FIFA eClub World Cup will not only be competing for a total prize pool of USD $50,000, but also for four seats (two for Xbox and two for PlayStation) in the EA SPORTS FIFA 18 Global Series Playoffs. At the playoffs, 64 players on Xbox One and 64 players on PlayStation 4 will fight for their places at the FIFA eWorld Cup 2018 Grand Final," said FIFA on 10/04/2018.

The first edition of the competition, previously called the FIFA Interactive Club World Cup, was held at Sky Studios in London (United Kingdom) on 05/08/2017.
