LaLiga Santander: RCD Espanyol opens an academy in Miami (USA), the club's sixth outside of Spain

Reial Club Deportiu Espanyol de Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) have opened their second RCDE Academy in the United States, in Miami, Florida, announced the Catalan club on 08/05/2018.

In addition to football training for boys and girls aged 5 to 18, "the agreement also includes other types of activities such as clinics or university scholarships. In fact, the first action is scheduled from 13 to 21/07/2018 with the organisation of a summer campus. On 20/08/2018, the annual course for the training centre will begin. All the tasks will be led by a director trained in the recognised Espanyol youth football," said RCD Espanyol, who added that there will also be school exchanges between American students based in Miami and Spanish and Chinese students based in Catalonia. 

The Miami Academy is RCD Espanyol's sixth in the world along with Ajman (United Arab Emirates), Algiers (Algeria), Saitama (Japan), New Jersey (United States) and Baghdad (Iraq).
