Austria: seven "ambitious goals" of Michael Krammer, new president of Rapid Vienna

Michael Krammer has been elected president of Rapid Vienna (Bundesliga, Austria) at the annual general meeting of the club, on the 18/11/2013. The only candidate, he replaces Rudolf Edlinger, in office since 2001, who chose not to stand and instead retire.

The new president of the Austrian club presented a programme with seven goals:
1 - Outsourcing of financial operations to a non-listed company
2 - Construction of a new stadium on the current site in the Vienna district of Huetteldorf
3 - Setting up a new sales and marketing model
4 - Attracting 10,000 additional members in the medium term
5 - Continuation of the policy of transparency
6 - Increased investment in digital services and strengthening the presence of the club on social networks
7 - Opening up Rapid Vienna internationally.
