AS Saint-Etienne: exclusive negotiations with investment fund PEAK6 (USA) for the sale of the club

"PEAK6 Investments, L.P. ('PEAK6', an American investment fund based in Chicago, Illinois) has entered into exclusive negotiations with Bernard Caïazzo (chairman of the supervisory board) and Roland Romeyer (chairman of the executive board) for the acquisition of Association Sportive de Saint-Etienne (Ligue 1 Conforama), an iconic French football club," announced the French club on 15/05/2018.

"PEAK6 is a passionate global investor. PEAK6 has significant expertise investing in sports and, in particular, European football with minority shareholdings in AS Roma of the Italian Serie A and AFC Bournemouth of the English Premier League as well as a majority shareholding in Dundalk FC of the Irish Premier Division. PEAK6 is expected to appoint Jérôme de Bontin as president of the club.
