Bundesliga: Jako to succeed Puma as the equipment supplier of VfB Stuttgart from 2019-20

The German brand Jako will succeed Puma as the equipment supplier of VfB Stuttgart (Bundesliga) announced the club on 14/05/2018. The four season contract will run from 2019 to 2023. "Under the slogan 'WE ARE TEAM', Jako will kit-out the professional side and all youth teams from VfB's youth academy, with sportswear and other articles," said Vfb Stuttgart.

Jako will gain the status of exclusive partner, the second level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the German club. Puma has been the equipment supplier of VfB Stuttgart since 2002-03 and pays the club an estimated €3m annually. The value of the contract between Jako and VfB Stuttgart is similar, according to German media.

Jako is the equipment supplier for two other Bundesliga clubs in 2017-18: Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Hannover 96.
